Terms

Website and service terms

You want to know what you agree to when you use this site, enquire or book us.

Sending a message is an enquiry. A date is only reserved once the scope and booking are agreed with you.

In short

  • This website gives general information and planning help. It is not a quote or an offer.
  • An enquiry is not a booking and never reserves a date.
  • The written job terms for your event are agreed with you before the booking is confirmed.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

This page sets out the terms for using this website and explains how a booking is confirmed. The written terms agreed for your event sit alongside it.

Governing law

How may you use the site content?

The guides, tools and pages are here for your own planning. Read them, share a link and use the tools for your event. Please keep the text, tools and layout as published, and ask us before copying them for another site or for sale.

What are the planning tools?

The tools are planning aids. They help you think through an event and prepare a brief. What they show depends on what you enter and on the assumptions each tool states, so confirm important dates and figures with us and your venue. Our editorial policy explains how the tools and pages are built and checked.

Some pages link to official or reference sites. Those sites run on their own terms and content, and you use them under their own conditions.

Is an enquiry a booking?

An enquiry starts a conversation. It does not reserve your date and does not commit you or us to go ahead. The process page shows each step.

How is a booking confirmed?

A booking is confirmed after we agree the scope and written job terms with you. The pricing page explains what shapes a quote. Before you agree, check:

  1. The quote matches what you discussed.
  2. Anything available on request, such as livestream, drone or same-day edit, is confirmed for your event.
  3. You know what happens if the date, venue or programme changes.

The booking scope checklist helps, and our guide to booking changes and practical agreements lists questions worth asking.

What will the written job terms cover?

  • Scope, date, venue and coverage hours
  • Crew and travel
  • Videos and files you receive, and how they are delivered
  • Review and revision rounds
  • Payment and payment stages
  • Changes, rescheduling and cancellation
  • Ownership, use and publication of the finished video
  • Privacy and permissions for people filmed
  • Storage of project files

Questions people ask

Is the information on this website a quote?
The pages explain how event video works and what we offer. A quote is written for your event once we know the date, area, hours, crew and videos you need.
When is my date actually booked?
When the scope and terms for your event are agreed and we confirm the booking with you. Until then the date is open, so tell us early if it matters.
Are the planning tools advice?
They are planning aids. Results depend on what you type in and on the assumptions each tool states. Check important figures and dates with us or the venue.
Who owns the finished video?
Ownership, use and sharing of the finished video are agreed in writing for your event. Raise it early, and see our guide to booking agreements for questions worth asking.
