Bentong is a district in western Pahang, and many Bentong events are planned by people in the Klang Valley. Its draw is a quieter setting: Janda Baik, a hill village east of Kuala Lumpur, has glamping and retreat sites for outdoor groups.
What kind of events happen in Bentong?
Retreats, team-building days, glamping weekends and family gatherings. Some sites in the district market themselves for corporate retreats, with a meeting tent, breakout areas and optional overnight stays. That shapes the filming: activities are spread over a site, and the day often starts early and runs late.

What is different about the road to Bentong?
From Kuala Lumpur, the usual route is the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway. A widening project is under way from near Gombak to the Mempaga Interchange in Bentong, and a third tunnel is being built at Genting Sempah. Construction started in March 2026, with completion expected by March 2030.
Traffic on this route can be heavy at weekends and in school holidays. For a weekend or school-holiday date, we agree an early arrival with you. Ask your venue which route its guests are told to take, and whether the last stretch is a narrow hill road.
